Myofascial Therapy (Neuromuscular or Trigger Point Therapy)

Myofascial pain syndromes involve trigger points that refer pain from a muscle to another part of the body. (For example; 94% of tension headaches are caused by the muscles in the neck referring pain to areas of the head and eyes.)

Often misdiagnosed as nerve impingement, carpal tunnel syndrome, arm tingling and weakness, sciatic and leg symptoms are often trigger points.

Treatments to relieve trigger points include: dry needling (acupuncture of the Trigger points), various pressure point therapies called myofascial therapy or neuromuscular therapy, ultrasound, stretching, and ice therapy.  See above for pricing.
